In order to visit El Poste, you should first make a reservation (see contact page)
From Quito you can take a bus to Santo Domingo de Los Colorados, all the buses that go to the coast pass through Santo Domingo, such as those that go north to Atacames, Esmeraldas or those that go south to Bahia de Caraques or Puerto Lopez.
It is a 3 hour bus ride from Quito to Santo Domingo.
On the bus ride call the community to inform them of your arrival time. Once in Santo Domingo take a taxi to the hotel "MARQUES", a member of the community will meet you at the hotel (no need to enter the hotel) in order to take you the tourist center.

This is the only way to go "El Post", buses and taxis do not go there as the road is in a very poor condition.
